The Psychology of Faces (2/2) |
por webbe |
The second of two photos examining how we perceive faces in relation to their context. Both photos have the same face, created by morphing the faces of Chris and myself evenly.
A comparison of the previous photo. This is a self-portrait, with the new face sumperimposed.
The context here changes with the focus on the person rather than the situation. Though the photo is of me, the mind is drawn to creating an identity based on the face, which only exists digitally.
Curiously, Chris' facial features are more noticable in this photo, and vice versa. Possibly the effects of introducing changes to a familiar person make it more noticeable.
